School Behaviour Support and Management Plan (SBSMP)
What is the School Behaviour Support and Management Plan (SBSMP)?
At Coleambally Central School, we are committed to creating a postive, inclusive and safe learning environment for all students. As part of the NSW Department of Education's Student Behaviour Policy, all schools are required to develop and implement a School Behaviour Support and Management Plan (SBSMP) by Term 1, 2025.
The SBSMP outlines our whole-school approach to supporting student behaviour.
Our plan is tailored to meet the needs of our students, and aligned with the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). Other key approaches we priorities include:
- Restorative Practice
- Berry Street
- Wellbeing Hub
- VI/SI
We will review the SBSMP annually to ensure it remains effective and relevant, using feedback from students, families, staff and school data.
